Our office utilizes the state-of-the-art interactive education system called CAESY. This innovative technology allows patients to view up to 142 presentations under 17 different topics using full-motion videos, 3-D graphics, computer animation and easy to understand narration. CAESY helps patients better understand different treatments and procedures.
We offer one of the latest technological advances in dentistry with digital radiography (X-rays). A wireless sensor is placed in the mouth, and a computer generates an image in 30 seconds as opposed to the general 4-6 minute wait time for images taken on dental film. These X-rays can also be enhanced on the computer and enlarged.
Not only are they friendly to the environment, they are much safer than traditional X-rays. Digital radiographs reduce radiation exposure by 90 percent!
The Isolite is an isolation system that features many benefits to the patient and the dentist during restorative dentistry. It is a mouthpiece that acts to provide suction, light, retraction and a jaw rest.
The Benefits of the Isolite:
Maintains a dry field so the dentist can achieve the absolute best adhesive bond possible between tooth structure and tooth-colored restorations (composite fillings, porcelain/ceramics)
Gives the patient a prop to rest their jaw during long procedures instead of having to keep their mouth open on their own strength. There is about 10X as much musculature for closing than opening the jaw, so the Isolite leads to less jaw soreness post-operatively.
Constant suction eliminates the need for dental assistant’s suction to be in and out of the mouth.
Light and retraction allow better visibility so that dentist can provide more ideal restorations.
